With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol E. King of Mason City, Iowa, who passed away on June 12, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George H. and Clarice F. (Gannon); her former husband Fred T. Younke; her stepson Randi King; her sister Judith Philips; and her brother-in-law Wayne Oswood.
She is survived by: her former husband Duane 'Bud C. King; her husband Bud; her children, Thomas M. Younke, Laura Payer (Rick), David G. Younke and Terry King (Lois); her grandchildren, Andrew Beavers (Kjersti), Lindsay Rollefson (Scott), Jonathon Payer (Katterine), Lucas Younke, Caleb Younke, Noah Younke, Emily Meserve (Jonathan), Anna Sandager (Ian) and Sarah King; her great grandchildren, Harper, Reece, Bridget, Clara, Ingrid, Maria, James and Eleanor; her sister Marlene Oswood; and her brother-in-law Don Philips. She is also survived by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be directed to the Wesley United Methodist Church or to Hospice of North Iowa.
