She is survived by: her sons, Lynn and Alan; her daughters-in-law, Mary and Chalarin; and her grandchildren, Lori, Eric and Nick.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made to military veteran charities, a cause that Lia passionately supported.
