She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Jay and Sally Jane Hamlin (Madison); her son Matthew Jay Hamlin; her brother Chris Hamlin; her brother-in-law Bill Berneman; and her grandparents, Leona Bergstom, Christopher and Rose Hamlin.
She is survived by: her sisters, Beverly McCoy (James) of Mason City and Patsy Berneman of Mason City; her nieces, Miranda Stevenson (Justin) and Karen Berneman-England; her great-niece Hayley Marie England of Mason City; her niece Jody Gall (Jacob) of Mason City; and her nephews, Michael McCoy (Melissa) of Mason City, Raymond McCoy (Connie) of Mason City, Christopher McCoy (Jennifer) of Sioux Center, IA, Nick Hamlin (Kate) of Garner and Devon Lee of Mason City.
