He was predeceased by: his parents, James Govern and Florence Govern (Abbas); his sister Carol Faber; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Roach and Louis Quevedo.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jane Roach of Mason City, IA, Mary Quevedo of Menifee, CA, Marge Connor (Mike) of Litchfield, MN, Jim Govern of Blue Earth, MN and Steven Govern (Judy) of Lakeville, MN; and his brother-in-law Mark Faber of Braham, MN.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (11495 265th St, Mason City, IA 50401).
