Betty Rae Slock Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 24, 2023, at the age of 101, Betty Rae Slock of Mason City, Iowa, born in Elkader, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Kerlin and Pearl Kerlin (Riordan); her husband Leslie Slock; her sister Naomi LaRue (Larry); and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Slock, Myrtle and Evelyn Slock.
She is survived by: her children, Sally Leider (Jim) and Leslie Smith (Bernard); her grandchildren, Sam Leider, Mark Leider (Dani Zeigler), Morgan Leider (Jamison Diekhuis), Amanda Miller (Wyatt) and Anna Russell (Ben); and her great grandchildren, Owen Miller and Evan Miller. She is also survived by one niece and three nephews.
Memorials may be directed to St. James Lutheran Church.
