Audrey Lavonne Pappas Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Audrey Lavonne Pappas (Mason City, Iowa), who passed away on June 12, 2019 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Calvin Young and Elsie Young (Jodschidt); her son Jeffrey Pappas; and her siblings, Dorothy Brown, Louise Spoto, Barbara Schmidt, Sandy Dean, Calvin and Ronald Young.
She is survived by: her husband Alex John Pappas; her children, Michael Pappas (Deb) and Roxanne Anderson; her sister Connie Phelps (Gene); her sister-in-law Bertie Young; her grandchildren, Andrew, Sarah, Jenny, Elizabeth, Audrey, Cassandra, Christopher, Alex and Emily; and her niece Stephanie Dean.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, June 17, 2019 from 5 until 7 PM at Major Erickson Funeral Home, 111 North Pennsylvania Ave. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be directed to the Audrey Pappas Memorial Fund in care of the family.
