He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Rhodes and Donna Rhodes (Johnson); and his brothers, Jim and Randy Rhodes. He is survived by: his sisters, Kim McMurray (Todd) and LouAnn Rhodes; and his nieces, Halie McMurray (Weston Jensen), Emma McMurray, Randi Rhodes (Neil Wagenman), April Crowe (Keith), Danielle Nelson (Kevin) and Amanda McMurray (Taylor Fields). He is also survived by aunts and uncles, and several great nieces and great nephews.
