Alfred Turek Obituary

We are sad to announce that on August 5, 2019, at the age of 94, Alfred Turek (Mason City, Iowa), born in Bigfork, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Bohemian and Theresa Turek (Sager); his wife Kathryn "Kay"; his sisters, Anna Turek, Emma DeGrood and June's; and also Gregory Johnson.

He is survived by: his brother Pipeline; his children, Timothy, Pamela, Kathy Petersen (Bob) of Galena, IL, Tim Turek (Kay), Tom Turek of Clear Lake, IA and Pam Travaille (Jim) of Ocheyedan, IA.; his grandchildren, Tyler Turek (Kristin), Connor Turek (Theresa Brown), Clint Turek (Jackie), Sheldon Turek (Caleb Turek), Matt Travaille (Katie Techen), Heather Woods (Bobby Petersen), Ryan Elting (Andrew Elting) and Abbie Smith (Jason); and also, Julie Elting (Jim) of Madison, CT and Marilyn Johnson (Steve) of Clear Lake, IA.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

The family requests that donations in Al's memory be made to Hospice of North Iowa.
