She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Alfred Carey and Hilma Carey; her daughter Cheryl; her husband Deloy; her daughter Debra Hauser (Scott) of Georgetown; her cousin Bruce Pilcher (Cheryl) of Independence, Missouri; her granddaughters, Kimberly of Atlanta, Georgia and Elizabeth (Andrew Odonnell) of Georgetown, Texas; and her great grandchild Ava Faye Odonnell of Georgetown, Texas..

In lieu of flowers and in honor of Yvonne's love of reading, the family is suggesting donations be made to Georgetown and Marshalltown Public Libraries, or buy a book for a child.
