He is survived by: his son Travis Brooks (Kim); his grandchildren, Kayleigh and Landon of Monroe, IA; his sister Tanya Hillygus of Marshalltown; his niece Staci Scavo (Justin); his great-niece Elena; and his nephew Hunter Hillygus of Waukee, IA.
