With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ted Levere Smith Sr. of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on January 30, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Buchanan and Ruth Buchanan (Burgess); his wife Judy Fehrmann; and his brother Aaron Smith. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Groves (John Reardon) of Ankeny, Mary Anderson (Phil) of Marshalltown, Ted Smith Jr. (Yolanda) of Marshalltown and Jason Smith of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Alicia (Adam), Sarah (Steve), Kelsea, Tyler (Skylar), Brittany, Seth and Owen; and his great grandchildren, Paetyn and Emery.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
