It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven Church of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on March 19, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, David Church and Marilyn Church; his former wife Betty King; his wife Katie Church; his brothers, Mark of Marshalltown, Tim Church of Marshalltown and Brad Church; and his stepfather Bill Grother.
After a chance meeting with Katie Doser in February of 2020, they were married on May 10, 2020 at their Marshalltown home, as their originally planned wedding venue of the Marshalltown Riverside Park Log Cabin closed a few months before their wedding date, due to the COVID shutdown.
