She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Swearingen and Ruby Swearingen (Fitzgerald); her husband Carroll E. Fetters; and her sister-in-law Laurie Pickett. She is survived by: her sons, Michael Pickett of Marshalltown, Phil Pickett (Lyn) of Marshalltown and Ron Pickett of Choctaw, Oklahoma.; and her sister Kathy Wood of Marshalltown. She is also survived by several step children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
