He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Harold and Hope Irene Ross Hoyt; his wife Peggy Ackey; his children, Jeremy Hoyt of Muscatine, Justin Hoyt (Allison) of Council Bluffs and Jennifer Davis (Jerry Rutherford) of Burlington; his stepchildren, Melissa Stanton (Jeff) of Oquawka, IL and Travis Fahlgren (Jennifer) of North Carolina; and his sisters, Janice Gabriel of Muscatine and Trudy Smith. He was also cherished by seven grandchildren.
