With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert Palmer of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Hunter and Mary "Loraine" Palmer (Harvey); and his brother Jack Harvey Palmer. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Jean Nelson; his sons, James C. Palmer (Rachel) of Marshalltown and Wesley W. Palmer (Lucia) of Lake Zurich, Illinois.; his grandchildren, McKaylee Palmer, Jadyn Palmer, Nicholas Palmer and Isabella Palmer; his sister-in-law Ann Palmer; and his pets, Maddy, Alley and Peter.
Memorial contributions in Bob's name will be used to help the local fire and police departments with picnic tables for their locations.
