He was predeceased by: his parents, Burke Pitzer and Shirley Gohring (Cheville). He is survived by: his daughter Brittany Peterson (Sayer) of Story City; his grandchildren, Wyatt and Maggie Peterson; and his siblings, Del Fisher, Rose Johnson, Ronnie Gohring, Mike Gohring and Jerry Gohring.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
