Patricia Smith Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Patricia Smith of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on March 18, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter King (Woody) and Vida King (Wilson); her husband Robert Beck; her brother Warren; her sister-in-law Dorothy King (Rick Smith); and her grandson Cole Beck.
She is survived by: her former husband Rick Smith; her sons, Darin Beck (Tom) of Iowa City and Brian Beck (Karla) of Polk City; her grandchildren, Travis Beck (Cassie) of Ankeny, Brittany Shelton (Andrew) of Cedar Falls and Trey Beck (Emily) of Gilbert; her stepdaughters, Laurel Thompson (Jeff) of Cedar Falls and Allison Deike (John) of Clear Lake; and her stepgrandsons, Alex and Max Deike. She is also survived by 6 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials made be directed to the Alzheimer's Association or the The Willows of Marshalltown – who took such great care of Pat in her last years.
