It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Millard Maxted of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Oskaloosa, Iowa, who passed away on June 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard James Sr. and Myrtle Maxted (Shaw); his daughter Melanie Maxted; his sister Donna Dodds; his parents-in-law, Orin, Rose Butler and Hazel Butler (Hickman); his brother Dennis Butler; and his sister-in-law Sandra Smith.

He is survived by: his wife Mary JoAnn "Jody" Butler; his pet Clinic; his children, Mark Justin Maxted, Mitchell Maxted (Kumi) and Martha Loney (Matt); his grandchildren, James Maxted, Manami Maxted, Motoki Maxted, Parker Klyn, Cara Klyn, Luke Loney and Grace Loney; and his pets, Daisy and Frank.
