Manz (Smith); his parents-in-law, Valborg and Tjerand "Charles" Bratland; his sister Ruth Sommerlot (Dale); his siblings-in-law, Valtina Bratland, Thomas Bratland, Edward Bratland (Margaret), Conrad Bratland, Clara Brown (Lyle), Cora Campbell (Pete) and Oscar Bratland; and his close friends, Bob, Frank, Jim and Curt.

He is survived by: his grandson Anthoneih; his wife Darlene; his children, Jana Manz Hamlett (Matt) and Barry Manz (Laura Haugen); his grandchildren, Jaclyne (Stacy), Jeanna (Craig) and Ezra; his great grandchildren, Ryder Spence, Eden Heller and Daphne Spence; and his stepmother Aliene. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.

“Darlene,Barry,Laura,Jana,Matt and family it was an honor being part of the team that assisted Maurice in his transition with Darlene from home to IVH. I always appreciate the twinkle in his eye when he spoke about his love of Darlene and shared with us how they met. He was always so proud of Jana & Barry and ALL of the grandchildren. He always offered o you his werthers candies when you stopped to visit . His smile and kindness will always be remembered. Thinking of you all .. Renee Aker”
