It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Margaret Woltjer of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on March 20, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Kennedy and Margaret Kennedy (Rafferty); her brother James Kennedy; and her parents-in-law, Henry and Leona Woltjer.
She is survived by: her husband Harold; her children, Mike Woltjer (Cherryl) of Marshalltown, IA and Peri Woltjer of Des Moines, IA.; her grandchildren, Andrew Woltjer (Amelia) of Marshalltown, IA, Kathryn Peiffer (David) of Ankney, IA and Erin Jensen (Ryan); and her great grandchildren, Natalie and Callan. She is also survived by great grandson on the way, and several nieces.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Riverside Cemetery (611 N Center St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
