She was predeceased by: her brother Denny Appelgate. She is survived by: her husband Patrick James Walsh of Patrick's Catholic Church; her son Ryan Walsh (Kelli) of Marshalltown; her grandchildren, Emily Paul, Jacob Paul (Brittney), Amy Paul, Ashley Thiessen (Kirby), Hayden Walsh and Dillon Walsh; her brother Tom Appelgate (Teresa); and her sister-in-law Sharlene Appelgate of Tama. She is also survived by 11 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and brothers and sisters-in-law.
