We bid farewell to Leroy Vibbard of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 21, 2025 at the age of 97. Leroy touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Vibbard and Jennie Vibbard (Halverson). He is survived by: his wife Leila Draegert; his sons, Dennis Vibbard of Marshalltown and Jeff Vibbard (Robin) of State Center; his grandchildren, Lisa Dougall (Brian), Danny Vibbard, Leslie Streeter (Jim), Liz Boecker (John Courier), Joe Vibbard, Alex Vibbard (Allissa), Devin Garretson and Harley Garretson; his great grandchildren, Eliana, Elias, Annika, Adley, Icie, Noah, Ellee, Calvin, Madison and Mylie; his daughters, Mary Sue Welch and Jennie Westcott; his grandchildren, Willie Weston, Charlie Vibbard and Michelle Vibbard; and his siblings, Helen Feldman, Ray Vibbard, Jesse Vibbard, Mary Bartling, Norman Faught and Ruby. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
