He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kerr and Phyllis Kerr (Dobson); his wife Patricia Brewer; his son Stephen Kerr; and his brothers, Brian J. Kerr and John Kerr.
He is survived by: his children, Noel Kerr (Betty) and Bryan Kerr; his grandchildren, Michael, Chandra, Farren and Trenton; his great grandchildren, Leroy and Romy; his siblings, Karen, Berta, Bob, David (Toni) and Jerry "Bingo" (Becky); and his sister-in-law Kathi Kerr.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Iowa River Church of the Brethren (2013 Wallace Ave, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
