He was predeceased by: his parents, Leslie Raymond and Patricia Marie Holtsclaw (Carl); his grandparents, Loy Walter (Tuffy), Gertrude Mae Holtsclaw (Golden), Robert Bruce Carl and Rosemarie Cecelia Lang; his in-laws, Keith Walter and Martha Susan Witt; and his brother-in-law Brian Keith Witt.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Ann (Witt); his children, Meghann "Mimi" Hammitt (Lonnie) of Colorado City, Keegan Patrick Holtsclaw of Des Moines, IA and Sara Rose Holtsclaw of Marshalltown, IA.; his grandchildren, Serenity May Holtsclaw, Maxwell Davin Hammitt, Livianne Bree Hammitt, Jillian Faye Jordan and Rayleigh Sunshine Jordan; his brothers, Brent Leslie Holtsclaw (Lisa) of Baxter, IA and Troy James Holtsclaw (Bill Montoya) of Las Vegas, NV; his sister-in-law Barbara Ann McCready (Jim); and his pets, DJ and Kiki.
