He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Menter and Olga Menter (Huber); his grandson Blake Thomas; his siblings, George Menter and Rose Gale; and his niece Tonya Menter.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kendra Preston (Donnie) and Rochelle Menter-Thomas (Carl Porter); his grandchildren, Robert, RJ, Tahchelle and Kimberly; and his brother Carroll Menter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
