She is survived by: her husband Gary; her children, Damie Niederhauser (Kyle) of Marshalltown and Jason Shirk (Jenny) of Montezuma; her grandchildren, Kylee Jones (Daniel), Emily Johnson (Jeremy), Weston Shirk (Brooke Hall), Shelby Shirk, Bailee Kay Niederhauser (Colton Wilson), Alex Niederhauser and Cora Ann Niederhauser; her sister Dixie McKibben; her siblings-in-law, Ed Shirk (Lilla) and Nancy Shirk; and her sisters, Barbara Trim and Nancy Dole. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
