He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernard Pepper and Mildred Pepper (Hill). He is survived by: his wife Linda Pepper; his daughter Jamie Lynn Miller Pepper of Louisville, KY; his grandchildren, Jeremy Miller of Marshalltown, Autumn Kane of Columbia, MO and Sarah Cretin of Marshalltown; his siblings, Virgil Pepper (Carol) of Ames, Marladene Tice of Ames and Julian Pepper (Karen) of Independence; his siblings-in-law, Audrey Streib of Overland Park, KS and Bill Severidt; his sisters, Norma Ingham and Carol Severidt; and his brothers-in-law, Michael "Mike" Streib, Harl Ingham and Bob Tice. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (3001 S 6th St, Marshalltown, IA 50158).
