James R. Douds Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James R. Douds of Marshalltown, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of James R. Douds to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Douds and Mildred Douds (Goecke); his brother Kimerick; and his in-laws, Don and Marcella Lane.
He is survived by: his wife Mary; his children, Stephanie (Chad) and Justin (Angela); his brother Sam; and his aunt Eleanor Rowden. He is also survived by three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, his precious great-granddaughter born on January 19, three step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
