She was predeceased by: her parents, Canuto Cota and Isaura Urias; her son Ramoncito; and her siblings, Elisa Cota, Rosario Cota and Leonardo Cota.
She is survived by: her husband Amado Soto Diaz; her children, Jesenia Mendoza (Eric) of Marshalltown, Joel Soto (Belen) of Marshalltown, Rosa Soto of Mexico and Fabiola Soto of Mexico; and her siblings, Lupita Cota, Virginia Cota, Rosaura Cota and Marta Cota. She is also survived by eight grandsons, two granddaughters, ten great-grandchildren.
