She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Wallace and Ellen Wallace (Johnson); her husband Marvin Jon Landis; her son Douglas; her siblings, Elmer Wallace (Jackie), Ralph Wallace (Elizabeth), Thelma Nablo (Deb), Ruth George (Ed), Marjorie Raum (Leonard) and Dale Wallace; her brother-in-law John Malmquist; and her sister Gertrude Malmquist.
She is survived by: her daughter Theresa; her grandson Vinton; her caregiver Marvin; her children, Wesley Landis (Cindy) of Eldora, Teri Aucoin (Michael) of New Providence and Troy Landis (Lori) of Minnesota; her grandchildren, Jonathon Landis (Jennifer), Courtney Landis (Andrea), Cody Landis, David Landis, Ashley Harding and Edward Aucoin; her great grandchildren, Isabella and Victoria Landis; her grandchildren, Aaden, Ahna, Cade Landis and Dusten Landis; and her sister-in-law Norma Wallace.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
