With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gregory Wayne Smith of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on May 30, 2023 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne M. Smith and Jeanne L. Smith (Walker); his son Sean; and his brother Steve. He is survived by: his wife Nuala Smith (Leavy); his children, Casey Smith of Urbandale and Katie Smith (Michael) of Bondurant; his grandchildren, O'Sheen Smith (Makynze), Ailish Enos (Isaac), Eamon, Grainne, Ethan, Quinlan and Aidan; his great grandchild Wayne; his daughters-in-law, Angel and Brenda; his foster daughter Tammy Raymond; and his brothers, Kevin Smith (Debbie) of Grand Junction and Dennis Smith (Barb) of Gladbrook. He is also survived by in-laws, along with countless nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
