Gary Ronald Fingert Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 25, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Gary Ronald Fingert of Marshalltown, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Fingert and Hyman Fingert. He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his children, Jane Burnett (Bruce Gilfix) and John (Alejandra); his grandchildren, Ben Burnett and Luciana Fingert; and his caregiver Gary of Parkinson's Disease.

Thanks to Iowa Heart, UIHC physicians, the VA, Hospice and the loving caregivers who enabled Gary to remain at home as he faced challenges from Parkinson's Disease. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the following organizations in Iowa City: Agudas Achim Synagogue, Animal Care and Adoption Center, and national organizations: Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinsons Research and US Sea Cadets.
