Ethel Keeley Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ethel Keeley of Marshalltown, Iowa, born in Dickinson, North Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 12, 2024 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Ron Keeley; her sisters, Jan Sitter (Ben) and Lynne Christen (Tom); her brother-in-law Peter Keeley (Ramona); her children, Patrick Keeley (Kristie), Ryan Keeley (Emily) and Janine McCormick (Nate); and her grandchildren, Nathan Keeley, Tanner McCormick and Cameron McCormick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Ethel had a tradition that instead of gifts at Christmas, she asked her children and grandchildren to give her a card detailing how they had volunteered their time, talent, or treasure over the past year. In that same spirit, she asks that in lieu of flowers, everyone volunteer or donate to the charity of their choice.
