He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann; his children, Ron Sumpter of Webster City, IA and Rhonda Wheeler (Roger) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Chantel Lynch (Shane), Shala Wyant, Meagan Gilgen (Matthew), Dani Swalin (Brent), Nick Sumpter (Jennifer) and Destiny Sumpter; his great grandchildren, Cole Lynch, Jase Lynch, Dylan Miller, Devon Miller, Perri Swalin, Kallen Swalin and Kian Sumpter; and his nephew Jack Bruce of California.
