Earl Clifford Best Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2024, at the age of 93, Earl Clifford Best of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Best and Stella Best (Carter). He is survived by: his brother Warren; and his children, Joyce Heiserman (Owen) of Des Moines, IA, Randy Best (Carol) of Yellville, AR, Kenney Best of Des Moines, IA, Janet Dady of Des Moines, IA, Kathy Johnson (Glen) of LaCrosse, WI, Sandy Best-Balignasay (Nelson) of Kennewick, WA, Lauire Scheiding of Marshalltown, IA and Jeff Best (Val) of Wichita, KS.. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was also deeply committed to the church serving on the Property Committee, Men's Group, Elim Retirees and Friends Luncheon and RSVP (Retired Seniors Volunteer Program).
These quilts blessed not only his children's and grandchildren's homes but also were donated to Iowa River Hospice and Lutheran World Relief through Elim Lutheran Church.
