He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Gerald Baker and Thelma Baker; his wife Mary of Crawfordsville, IA.; his son Dr. Gerald Baker (Linda) of Des Moines, IA; his grandchildren, David Brownson (Cammie), Meredith Estremo (Peter), Rebecca Hodgson (David), Dr. Jennifer Baker (Scott Schumaker) and Stephanie Baker; his great grandchildren, Dean, Ayla Brownson, Diana, Piece Estremo, Reece Schumaker and Asher Hodgson; and his daughter Diana Kay (Bill Brownson).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the First Presbyterian Church and Care Initiative Hospice.
