He is survived by: his wife Linda Whaley (Moler); his son Chad Whaley (Amanda) of West Branch; his grandchildren, Lauren Whaley, Matthew Whaley and Adisyn Whaley; and his sister Alice Grabenbauer of Marshalltown.
