He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Young and Ruth Ann Young (Hauser); and his siblings, Jim Young, Tom Young and Janie Ferguson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Davis; his children, Christopher Young (Linda) of Huxley, IA, Kimberly Young (Curt Craun) of Marshalltown, IA and Justin Young (Amanda) of Melbourne, IA; and his grandchildren, Tanner, Andrea, Bryce, Meghan and Kaitlyn.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the family for later designation to Iowa River Hospice and the Iowa City Hope Lodge.
