He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Long Sr. and Thelma Long (Ruch); his wife Helen; his daughters, Linda Stonewall (David) of Gilman and Lorraine Crow (Ron) of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Kelsy Orelus (Mario), Kendra Giffin (Ryan), Ethan Crow (Maria) and Jacklin Stonewall; his great grandchildren, Darick, Anaya, Zayla, Mercy, Emilia and Colby; his brothers, William Long Jr. (Virginia) and Darwin Long; his sister-in-law Patricia Long; his son Mark; his great grandchildren, Claire and Noah; his brother Kenneth Long; and his sister-in-law Angie Long. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the family for designation to the Iowa River Hospice and Gideon International.
