Charles Junior Peterzalek Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 31, 2025, at the age of 93, Charles Junior Peterzalek of Marshalltown, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph and Lydia Peterzalek (Krajicek); his wife Mary Ann Braasch; and his sister Nadine Vanous. He is survived by: his children, Jeff Peterzalek (Gerri), John Peterzalek (Traci), Kathy Stephenson (Joe), Charlie Peterzalek and Karen Kessler (Randy); his grandchildren, Anna Anderson (Ryan), Kyle Peterzalek (Dana), Chelsi Martin (JT), Carter Peterzalek (Jamie), Hannah Kaplan (Martin), Abbey Vandendooren (Tyler), Cori Andrews (Jeremiah) and Jake Kessler (Whitney); and also, Janet Warren (Bill), Margaret Checkal, Ron Braasch (Katie) and Nancy Braasch.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home (1209 Iowa Ave W, Marshalltown, IA 50158). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Michael Catholic Church (1304 9th Ave, Belle Plaine, IA 52208). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 9th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Oak Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Belle Plaine American Legion Post 39.
