With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Butcher of Marshalltown, Iowa, who passed away on August 4, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransford Butcher and Ida Butcher (Ash); his wife Jo Ann Butcher; his brother John; and his daughter-in-law Missy Butcher.

He is survived by: his son Lance Butcher of Marshalltown; his grandchildren, Austin Butcher (Sabrina) and Ryan Butcher (Emma); his great grandchildren, Anna and Charlotte "Charlie" Butcher; and his siblings, Robert Butcher of Texas, Paul Butcher of Marshalltown and Barbara Woodruff of Arizona.

Memorials may be made to the family for a later designation. Keep Charley Butcher's legacy alive by donating to a charity in need.
