He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Lloyd, Dorothy Batterson, Arnold and Marie Peterson. He is survived by: his parents, Richard Batterson and Norma Batterson of Rochester, MN; his wife Julie Wise; his children, Lauren of Marshalltown and Adam of Marshalltown; his brothers, Mark Batterson (Denise Holecek) of Rochester, MN and Eric Batterson (Kim) of Rochester, MN; his parents-in-law, John and Cindy Wise; his sister-in-law Michelle Masterson (Eric) of Overland Park, KS; his nieces and nephews, Jack, Stuart Batterson, Casey, Sam (Grace), Leah Batterson, Tyler and Mia Masterson; and his great-niece Evangeline. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established by the family.
