He was predeceased by: his parents, John Zaruba and Francis Zaruba (Coppess); his wife Darlene Timm; his siblings, Johnny Zaruba, Wayne Zaruba, Glen Dale Zaruba and Barbara Widel; his daughter Carol Armstrong; his granddaughter Linda Sanderson; and his great grandchild TJ Sanderson.
He is survived by: his son Chad Zaruba (Tammy); his grandchildren, Olivia Zaruba, Cody Prusha (Emily), Alex Prusha (Elizabeth) and Jason Short; his great grandchildren, Hunter and Stephanie Rumley; and his brothers, Jimmy Zaruba and Jerry Zaruba. He is also survived by four great-great-grandchildren.
