He was predeceased by: his father Herbert Hoop; his wife Donna Hoop; his mother Dorothy Hoop; and his brothers, Herbert and Leo Hoop.
He is survived by: his sons, Brian Hoop, Adam Hoop (Emily) and Jared Hoop; and his grandchildren, Adilyn Hoop, Samantha Hoop and Jordyn Hoop.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family to be donated to charities within the Marshalltown Community at a later date.
