She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Johnson and Frances Johnson; her husband Richard Hemmingsen; and her parents-in-law, Pete and Elsie Hemmingsen.
She is survived by: her son Rodney Hemmingsen (Patti) of Marne, Iowa; her grandsons, Trey Hemmingsen (Charlie Owen) of Denver and Zach Hemmingsen (Afton); her great grandchild Havannah of Marne, Iowa; and her sister La Vila Nielsen (Dale) of Johnston, Iowa. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and their children.
Memorials may be directed to the Saints Peter & Paul Catholic Church in memory of Carol.
