With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Emmett Kemp of Marion, Iowa, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 5, 2023 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren J. Kemp and Esther E. Kemp (Booze); and his sister Edna Stookesberry. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Kaye Fehr Long of Marion; his daughters, Karen Kemp and Kellee Evans of Cedar Rapids; his stepchildren, Brenda Doonan (Mike) of Barnes City, Barbara Long of Hiawatha and Darin Long (Kris) of Waterloo, Iowa; his grandchildren, Jennifer Delarm (Chris), Jessica Evans, Josh Doonan (Evelin), Isaac Doonan (Anna-Lisa), Kaitlin Long (Scott Schledewitz) and Jordan Long (Britt); his great grandchildren, Alexander, Amelia, Liam, Ella, Cooper, Onyx, Finn, Eli and Juniper; and his brother-in-law Chuck Stookesberry of Cedar Rapids.
