William Alan Sunlin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Alan Sunlin of Marion, Iowa, who passed away on March 6, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William R. Sunlin and Mildred C. Sunlin (Lindstedt). He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Sunlin of Marion; his children, William T. Sunlin of Anamosa, Stacey Finn (Sean) of Savage, David Sunlin (Darcy) of Monticello and Mathew Sunlin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Will, Dillon, Shelby Sunlin, Jane Cushing (Eric), Emma Finn (Zach Chambers), Olivia Sunlin (Ryan Kelchen), Alaina, Marcus Sunlin and Mandy Brislawn (Anthony Rickard); and his brother Tom Sunlin of Rock Island, Illinois.. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the Brain Injury Alliance of Iowa or Antioch Christian Church in his honor.
