She is survived by: her children, Karen Hammes (Marvin Shenefelt), David Hammes, Duane Hammes and Sheryl Hammes (Tom Gomes); her stepgrandchildren, Christina Philips (Mike) and John Gomes (Raelene); her grandsons, Bobby Joe Hammes and Kevin Shenefelt (Kyla); her sister Jeanne Merryfield; and her nieces, Rita Robison and Linda Tish (Greg). She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
