We bid farewell to Roberta Lynn Stephenson-Johnson of Marion, Iowa, born in Monticello, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 24, 2024 at the age of 72. Roberta Lynn touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Stephenson and Wilma Stephenson of Monticello; her parents-in-law, Myron and Elizabeth Johnson; her aunts and uncles, George, Charlotte Machacek, Chuck, Betty Stephenson and Arlene Miller; and her cousins, Lynette Calloway, Linda Evans and Charlie Stephenson.
She is survived by: her husband Daniel of Marion; her son Bryan (Erica); and her grandson Kayden.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home (520 Wilson Ave SW, Cedar Rapids, IA 52404). A graveside service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Roberta's memory to Camp Courageous, American Red Cross, Stonebridge Church, or a charity of choice.
