Though Robert may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Robert touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Richard "Butch" Trude and Carolyn Trude (Wentworth); his children, Brianna Belville (Josh) of Davenport, Ryan Taylor of Marion, Jen Taylor of Marion and Austin Taylor (Jess) of Folletts; his siblings, Jeanette (Mike Liphardt) of Clinton, Gene "Opie" Taylor of Clinton and Arnie Trude (Rachel) of Middleburg, FL; and his close friend Ryan Evans.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Funeral Home (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
